It is a required textbook for the class; I gave it a 4 star because it is not a well-organized book. A lot of information is crammed together. That being said, this is the ONLY book you need if you want to take the WOCNCB certification test. I bought several wound care study guides from Amazon including Wound Care certification Study guide by Jayesh B. Shah, MD (the information is too basic, not helpful) and CWCN Exam Practice questions by Mometrix (not helpful either; the book has a high rating at Amazon because the owner of the company promises you a free DVD if you would give the book a good rating). Anyways, I passed the board exam and would want to share my experience with people and to help people save some money too.
Book is well written and thorough, easy to read with great illustrations. Love the kindle sample that can free with it. Will now buy the Kindle version D/T ease of reading. and it has great pictures.
This book will help you get through the wound care course!
